It’s finally starting to feel like spring here, and just in time for me to show off this perfect, springy dress! If you’ve been following along, you are familiar with The Shabby Closet. If you missed last week’s blog post, The Shabby Closet is a new boutique I am crushing on! You will definitely want to go check them out, because that is where I found this adorable Sweet Blush Pocket Tee Dress!

The cute blush pink and the lightweight material make this dress perfect for spring days and summer nights. It is so soft and extremely comfortable. It is also a good length, so I felt I was able to wear it to work (I work in a casual environment). I was a little worried about how it would fit, seeing that I typically wear an extra small and the dress is only available in small, medium and large, but I actually don’t mind the looser fit of the size small. I love the fact that this dress is lightweight and soft, but it is slightly see through. I just threw on a nude cami and shorts underneath and I was good to go! You could wear a nude body suit or slip if you have one, also!

I got SO MANY compliments when I wore this dress out! To work I wore it with a cute necklace and simple cardigan, then that night I tied it up in a knot and threw on some sneakers for a casual date with the hubby. Happy Spring, Lovelies! Just knowing it’s officially spring makes me extra happy! You know what else makes me happy? New fashion boutiques like The Shabby Closet! As a new blogger, it is so fun to work with a new boutique and help each other out on our journeys.

One of my favorite items from The Shabby Closet is their Striped Contrast Long Shirt. I think this is a must-have for spring and summer, because it is extremely versatile! I have styled this long shirt 4 different ways, but the possibilities are endless! In addition to the ways I shared below, you could also wear this top front tucked or as a swimsuit cover!

This top comes in small, medium and large. I was slightly nervous when I saw that, because I typically wear an extra small in tops. Although it is a little loose on me, I think it still works! The extra fabric in this shirt makes it great to style multiple ways. If you are in between sizes normally, I suggest sizing down.
